If you’d like to take your own picture to potentially be featured on the blog, then get your Soul Survivor Bible in One Year, and take a picture of yourself – and your Bible – at some interesting or colourful location. Then email it to us at editor@soulsurvivor.com.

The pictures will need to be a pretty good resolution (we use 640px by 360 px so at least as big as that), landscape photos work best and if you include the day of the reading in the picture then make sure you send it to us a good few days before that reading, so we have time to include it in that day’s post! We’ll credit all photographers!

    John 17:20-21
I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, [21] that all of them may be one. // let’s strive to all unite in expanding Gods kingdom!

Please can we have some new video blogs rather than just repeating last years. Thank you.

    • Dazza says :

      Why?
I mean, I get that it does sometimes feel like they’re not bothering so much this year. But then…what’s wrong with last year’s blogs? Doesn’t seem to be a lot of point in replacing ones that were already perfectly good. Not likely to say it any better the second time around…

      • yvette says :

When theres so much more that can be learned/ gleaned from these passages and the bible as a whole, why say whats already been said?
There is always something new to learn from the bible no matter how many times you read it.

        • Topsy says :

Prov 27:14 If a man loudly blesses his neighbour early in the morning, it will be taken as a curse.

        • Dazza says :

I suppose…but surely for some passages there’s really only so much you can say without stretching the point?
Besides, there aren’t many of these commentaries I read/saw a year ago that I can really remember after all this time :P
(And there’s like a kazillion ways to read the Bible. Surely many of the things we can learn from it need more…focussed reading than BIOY can give?)
          God bless
